Mims Baptist Adult Choir

Looking for a place to serve God in a very special way? We would like to encourage you to come and join our music ministry! We have an exciting ministry that leads in weekly worship and praise services. Our music ministry provides many unique opportunities for your entire family!

ADULT CHOIR
This choir is for adults who want to lead in praise and worship each Sunday morning. It's easy to join-there are no tryouts or auditions. If you have a desire to sing for the Lord and glorify Him through music, we encourage you to visit rehearsal any Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. (immediately following the service) in the Worship Center. Childcare is provided.

ORCHESTRA
This group of instrumentalists is for ninth graders through adults. A brief interview is required. The orchestra participates in weekly Sunday morning services along with the choir. Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. in the Worship Center. We always welcome new members, so come and use your talents for the Lord!

CHILDREN'S CHOIRS
Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. This will be a part of our AWANA time (ages 3-6th grade). We will be learning fun, exciting, upbeat praise/worship music and preparing for special presentations throughout the year!

What Choir Means to Me!

I am new to this choir, but I have sung in church choirs all my life. God often uses Christian music to speak to my heart. In the music we sing it stirs my soul and encourages me. I am just so thankful that God gave me my love of church music and a wonderful choir to sing with. -Rita Ladd

I am not able to pen words on a score that will touch men’s hearts, and I am unable to create the music score itself. But when the orchestra begins playing, I can worship God and praise Him with my voice and all of my heart. My greatest praise and worship has always been through years of church music and especially as a member of the choir at Mims Baptist. -Dan Davis
